Noted wine photographer Richard Duval captures vivid wine imagery for regional and national wine media, wine marketing organizations and an ever-growing number of wineries in the Pacific Northwest. Chateau Ste. Michelle selected his image of its iconic chateau for the cover of its commemorative 50th anniversary book. Signature Wines and Wineries of Washington chose his image of Sagemoor Vineyard for its book cover.
His work appears regularly in Great Northwest Wine, Northwest Wine Report as well as being steady contributor to Wine Business Monthly, Good Fruit Grower, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator and numerous blogs and wine sites. You’ll find his images in Washington’s state and regional wine marketing guides for Walla Walla, Woodinville, Yakima Valley, Cascade Valley and Red Mountain.
From his Woodinville studio, he creates bottle shots and wine community portraits.
Duval also markets his wine work via WinePix, a line of personal greeting cards and through his exhibit of wine fine art titled Art from the Vine which he stages in wineries and wine venues around Washington. From his library of nearly 700,000 images, he creates custom prints for wineries and wine aficionados on metal, canvas or lustre papers.
